Fun at the Fair – Happy 20th Birthday Imagine That!
Happy birthday to us, happy birthday to us ...
Google aren’t the only ones celebrating their 20th anniversary of business this year! In honour of our milestone birthday, earlier this month we all headed out of the office for a fun-filled family afternoon of funfair games and refreshments, with everything from smashing crockery to ‘thumping Trump’ firmly on the agenda! Oh, to be five again …
Working in teams, everyone commandeered their own funfair stall and the race to provide the best entertainment well and truly began (we’re not in the slightest bit competitive …). As the nostalgic funfair excitement took off, there were coconuts sent flying, wine bottles unwrapped and plates shattered (and that was just the BBQ preparation). After an energetic game or two of rounders, plus egg and spoon and three-legged races thrown in for good measure, we all treated ourselves to cake and prosecco as we celebrated 20 years of business.
Special mention goes to designer Carrie and and head of digital Andrew for the much-deserved accolade of ‘best stall’ for their popular ‘Crockery Smash’ creation. They well and truly smashed it!
Spot the face paint! Publishing Director Dan Graham does his best racoon impression …
Lucy from Sales displayed her talent for face painting as she took us from office to funfair with the addition of butterflies and whiskers!
Fun at the Arty Mouse craft table with Ben and Jess (featuring coconut pets!).
Water or wine? The finance department keeping us all hydrated!
King of the Jenga (also known as Production Director Stuart).
Let the races begin! (Photo finish alert! Is that MD Dave Henderson’s thumb holding onto his egg we spy?!)
Don’t be shy! Editor Sue and designer Mark with their coconut extravaganza!
Thump the Trump, smash some plates – we know how to celebrate at Imagine That!
Vivienne from Foreign Rights wowed the children with her amazing elephant piñata (note to parents: don’t mix children, the promise of sweets, blindfold and bat without an army of adults).
Happy families! A lovely afternoon and evening was had by all.
Happy birthday Imagine That and a big thank you to our loyal customers and colleagues who have supported us on our 20 year journey so far. Hip hip … hooray!
